Bisson Family
Shantelle Bisson is a Canadian author, parenting expert,
entrepreneur and community advocate with a passion for
supporting families and children. She is best known for her
bestselling books Raising Your Kids Without Losing Your Cool
and Parenting Your Teen Without Losing Your Cool, which
offer real, compassionate and practical advice for parents
navigating the ups and downs of family life.
In 2024, the Bisson family was introduced to Shelter Movers,
and their connection to the cause was immediate and
deeply personal. As longtime supporters of organizations that
advocate for children’s health and well-being, Shantelle and
Yannick have always believed that every child deserves to
grow up safe, supported and free from harm.
Shantelle has become a strong, personal advocate for Shelter
Movers and its mission to help families fleeing abuse transition
to lives of safety and dignity. She understands that breaking
the cycle of violence starts with protecting the most vulnerable
— and that includes ensuring children living in unsafe homes
have a path to freedom and healing.
